Toledo first to offer Midwest TE
Springdale, Pa., tight end Lucas Cox has earned his first scholarship offer. The 6-foot-4, 242-pound tight end that attended the Rivals100 Junior Day in Ohio has landed an offer from a MAC team.
“I got an offer from Toledo,” Cox, who was a second-team all-conference pick as a junior, said. “I am really excited about it, but I didn’t accept it yet.”

That’s because Toledo isn’t the only team that’s heavily interested. Cox said he’s received calls in May from Wisconsin, Bowling Green, Iowa, Ohio, UConn and Liberty.
“Duke’s also been by the school,” he said. “It’s really starting to happen for me, and I’m excited about what’s to come.”
