Toki names new favorite

Thomas Toki really likes Cal. His father lives in the area. The four-star defensive tackle has already visited the Berkeley campus numerous times.
The Kirkland (Wash.) Juanita standout is now just waiting for an offer from the Golden Bears.

"I really like Cal," Toki said. "Cal is the favorite. The education is great and it's right where my dad lives. I've been there a couple times and it's a great campus.
"I've been talking to them and they visited me last month. They like me a lot but they're looking at my height and stuff so I don't know about an offer yet."
If Cal offered, it would become an even bigger frontrunner for Toki, who has already picked up offers from Arizona State, Colorado, Oregon State, UCLA, Utah, Vanderbilt and Washington State.
"That would be a big deal if they offered," Toki said.
The 2015 standout recently released a top five of Washington State, USC, Oregon State, UCLA and Utah so it's a little surprising that Cal has emerged as the leader in his recruitment only weeks after Toki named other top schools.
Rated as the No. 18 defensive tackle in the junior class by Rivals.com, Toki said Penn State is showing a lot more interest in him recently as well.
Since Cal has not offered yet, the Kirkland Juanita standout said he wants to take his time and not rush anything.
"Everything is going great," Toki said. "I recently got offered by Utah and Colorado so now I have seven offers.
"Right now I'm still weighing out my options. My favorite school hasn't offered yet so I don't know what I'm going to do yet."
