Todd Nolen names two favorites

Hampton, Va. wide receiver Todd Nolen hasn't taken any camp trips this summer, but plans on at least on unofficial visit. The 6-foot-3, 185-pounder has two leaders at this point, with a few others close.
"Right now I'd say that Nebraska and Virginia are probably my two favorites," said Nolen. "Virginia is a school I've been to a few times and I plan on taking another unofficial visit there before the summer ends. It's like a comfort zone for me.

"Nebraska is an exciting offense since coach Callahan has come in," he said. "They need wideouts who can play early and they plan on throwing the ball a lot. I'll take an official visit out there for sure."
Other schools on Nolen's list include Maryland, Syracuse and Virginia Tech. The Terps are the only school amongst his favorites who haven't offered yet.
"I went to Maryland last winter for a hoops game against Wake Forest and it was a cool place," he said. "Syracuse just offered me and Tech offered awhile ago. I know Jimmy Williams from Tech and he's a cool guy, but the Hokies aren't recruiting me as hard as Virginia and Nebraska."
Nolen, who caught 27 passes for 728 yards and 11 scores as a junior, will take his time with his decision.
"I'm not going to rush into anything I don't think," he said. "I'll probably just take a few official visits and see what happens."
