Timothy sees recruiting heat up

Offensive tackle Gifford Timothy of Middletown, Delaware has been on several recruiting boards for quite some time, but it appears as though things are starting to heat up even more.
Timothy currently holds offers from BYU, Maryland, Rutgers and Boise State, and several other schools appeal to be moving in that direction.

"There are some new schools involved," said his father, Ian Timothy. "Stanford is looking to come visit him. From what the coach is telling me, Stanford is potentially coming out to visit him in a week or two weeks.
"Clemson is new and Alabama has come up to see him. Coach was also telling me that Michigan, Michigan State and West Virginia have asked for film."
While his father doesn't know exactly what's going on inside his head, he offered his thoughts on who he feels has the inside track.
"At this point he's pretty wide open, but I nkow BYU, Boise State and Utah are high on his list. I know Clemson is a pretty big (school) for him, too."
Timothy is scheduled to visit Boise State and Utah in June.
The 6-foot-7, 288-pound lineman has run the 40-yard dash in 5.55 seconds.
