Timmons to decide Wednesday

York (Pa.) William Penn athlete Knowledge Timmons, the fastest player in his home state, will make his decision on Wednesday between four out-of-state schools and Penn State. Who has the edge?
"Right now it's Maryland," said the 5-foot-10, 170-pounder who runs a 10.5-second 100-meters. "But it's very close. They have a slight edge because I like the program, the education and the wideout coach -- coach Franklin. He's a good guy."

Timmons finished his official visits this past weekend with a trip to Minnesota. He has also visited NC State and South Carolina on official visits and has been to Penn State on an unofficial.
"I really like all of them, but you can't pick them all," he said. "I think I could play at any of them, but I want a chance to play offense if I can get it so I can use my speed. I really liked Minnesota this past weekend and South Carolina and NC State were great as well. Penn State needs some speed, so that's interesting also."
Timmons, ranked as the No. 71 athlete in the country, will decide this week.
"On Wednesday it looks like," he said. "I'm hoping to do some sort of press conference or get it on TV. I have to talk to my coach, but Wednesday looks like the day."
