Timmons checks out Maryland
York (Pa.) William Penn athlete Knowledge Timmons, regarded as the fastest player in the state of Pennsylvania this year, is on his way back from his official visit to Maryland. How did it go?
"It was good, I had a good time," said Timmons, a 5-foot-10, 175-pounder who runs a 10.5-second 100-meters. "I was hosted by Josh Wilson and everyone was cool."

Timmons, a low key kid, is keeping quiet about his favorites at this point.
"I liked Maryland a lot and Boston College was cool," he said. "Maryland was a little better though, I fit in there. I didn't commit though. I am going to UConn next weekend and then probably NC State or South Carolina after that. I might look at Minnesota too, we'll see."
Timmons wants to run track wherever he goes and likes the track program at Maryland. He hopes to make his decision by Christmas.
