Timmons calls UF visit all right
Lake City (Fla.) Columbia two-star athlete George Timmons is back from his official visit to Florida this weekend. So how did it go for him?
“It was all right,” Timmons, who was either really tired or honestly not excited about his visit to Gainesville, said. “We just met the coaches and stuff. Dee Webb was my host. He was all cool and fun to be around, but I don’t know if I really liked it.

“I’m not too far from them, so I’m kind of used to seeing Florida.”
Timmons is now scheduled to take a mid-week visit to South Florida. He then follows it up with a visit to Miami on January 23 and LSU on January 30.
“Florida wants me at cornerback,” he said. “They told me they’d wait for me all the way until signing day.”
Timmons has also visited North Carolina.
