Times talks about decision
Wayne Times is a three-star prospect from Miami (Fla.) Northwestern High School. Times, 5-10 and 170 pounds, recently committed to Florida International this past week. He cited several reasons for his decision.
"It's home," Times. "It's so close to home and it's important for me that my family be close so they can watch me play. Plus, they are for real and better than people think. They said they want me as an athlete and play me every where."

Times had a good senior season and even better playoffs. He made a few brilliant plays with the ball in his hands in their championship game loss to Sanford (Fla.) Seminole. That's when FIU offered.
"They offered after the game and I also heard from a ton of other schools. But nobody put it in writing except FIU. That made the decision easy for me."
Times will make his official visit to FIU on January 30th.
