Tiller shows skills at NIKE Combine

KELLER, Texas - There were several dual-threat quarterbacks who tested their skills at this weekend's NIKE Combine in Keller. One of those was San Antonio Lee's Jerome Tiller who is still on the board with one offer but on the lookout for more.
The 6-foot-3, 184-pounder impressed with a shuttle time in the sub 4.3-second range and a vertical above 35 inches. Tiller says that he would have liked to have run a better 40-yard dash time, but says the event was well worth the long drive up North.

"Well, I popped straight up on the 40 so that took away from my time," Tiller said. "But, it was good. I wanted to experience and see where I was at against everyone else up here. That was the best shuttle time I had ever run."
Tiller says that he's only been to Texas A&M, his first offer, for a visit. He plans to get out to Oklahoma and Oklahoma State for spring games. Several other schools such as Northwestern and LSU are also showing interest.
"I don't know who the favorite is," Tiller said. "It's whoever I fit the best in offensively."
So who might be next to offer?
"I don't want to jinx myself on saying who might be next," Tiller said. "There is just a lot of interest right now."
