Tiller has a final three

It's down to three for dual-threat quarterback Jerome Tiller.
The 6-foot-3, 184-pounder says that he has his final list of schools and will make a decision between those before the end of the month. The final schools on Tiller's list are Iowa State, Minnesota, and Purdue.

"I get along with each school and I fit in real well," Tiller said. "The coaches are great, the style of play is great. Minnesota is going to a spread, which is what I run now. Iowa State runs a spread and Purdue loves to throw the ball. That puts me in a good position.
"I'll have my decision right before Aug. 27."
The Lone Star state prospect has yet to visit any of the three schools. Right now, Tiller is still set to visit all three schools officially this fall.
"Whatever school I pick, I will for sure plan an official visit there," he said. "I plan on still taking officials to these three schools. As of right now, the two official visits I have set are with Minnesota and Iowa State. I'm going to the Iowa State game when they play OU (Oct. 20) and Minnesota when they play Purdue (Sept. 22). I don't have one set for Purdue yet.
"If they allow me to take other visits after I commit, I will. If not, it will just be an official visit to that school."
One of the biggest factors in Tiller's decision will be playing time.
"I want to play," he said. "I don't want to sit on the bench and watch. I'm going to school for an education, but that's not the only reason. I'd like to play before the end of my junior season. I want to play earlier rather than later, but also getting a good education at the same time."
