Tight end has busy spring

Tight end Ryan Moya (6-4, 235, 4.7) from El Dorado (Calif.) Oak Ridge has had a very busy spring. He attended the USC skills camp that took place on April 25th and that went very well. Moya has been told that will have quite a few visitors his school this spring.
“Northwestern called and told me that they will be coming to my school for a visit,” Moya said. “Fresno State, Duke and Oregon State have indicated that they will also visit the school this spring.”
Another school that is in the mix is USC where he recently participated in the Trojan skills camp.
“I talked to Coach (Pete) Carroll, coach Seto and tight end coach (Brennan) Carroll,” Moya said. “They all told me I did great.”
“Head coach (Pete) Carroll wants to come down to the camp in June,” Moya said. “Coach Carroll also wants me to take an unofficial visit this summer to see the campus.”
“Northwestern and Fresno State have indicated that they could offer soon,” Moya said. “Coach (Adam) Cushing said Northwestern is ready to offer. He said Northwestern offensive coordinator Mike Dunbar will evaluate me at the NIKE camp held at Stanford later this month.”
“According to Coach Cushing, Coach Dunbar will make the decision on whether to offer me after he evaluates me after one of my spring practices,” Moya said. “Fresno State head coach (Pat) Hill told my coach that I’m on their list of players they want to sign in the very near future.”
Moya had 39 receptions for 663 yards and eight touchdowns. He was selected all-conference, all-city and all-section for his junior year performance. His team was 12-1 and Section Champs last season.
Moya benches 325, squats 550 and has recorded a 32-inch vertical jump. He has been timed in the shuttle in 4.3 and he did 30 reps of 185 pounds on the bench.
