Tight end commit done with trips

Mia Valoaga went to Utah this past weekend with the intention of committing and that's exactly what the Oxnard (Calif.) Channel Islands tight end did before he left campus.
The 6-foot-6, 210-pound prospect said he couldn't be happier with his decision and he doesn't plan to take any other visits before National Signing Day.

Valoaga had a great visit to Utah and he's not looking anywhere else.
"I really liked the atmosphere between the teammates and the coaches," Valoaga said. "I loved the city, too. I have been thinking about committing to them for a long time. That was one of my top colleges.
"They've been recruiting me for a while and when I got there I had it in my mind I was going to commit."
The visit for Valoaga only reinforced his thinking. Everything was impressive during his trip to Utah and he found no reason to consider other programs in the final days before signing day.
Utah had everything he was looking for and so he decided to end his recruitment.
"The campus was nice," Valoaga said.
"That stood out to me a lot. It's a really nice campus. I got to see what my classes would be and they have a really good kinesiology program so that will benefit me a lot. They're getting new facilities and I'm looking forward to that over the next couple years.
"I'm done. I was originally going to go to Hawaii but they called when I got off the plane and they said a lot of recruits had committed there so I'm done with recruiting."
In his senior season, Valoaga finished with 57 receptions for 787 yards and eight touchdowns.
