Tigers second to offer Texas OL

There's a reason why Klein (Texas) Collins running back Michael Goodson is so good. Sure he has natural ability, but he also has an offensive line anchored by Matt Allen.
"Michael gets us a lot of exposure as an offense," Allen said. "College recruiters look at him and see how talented he is but they know he has to have holes to run through."

It's no surprise that the Auburn Tigers have offered Allen (6-3, 265-pounds), who will make his living run-blocking in college.
"I was offered by Stephen F. Austin early and now Auburn came up last week," he said. "I'm want to take a visit there in January and I'd like to go to a camp there this summer. How can I pass up on a team that went undefeated last season?"
While Auburn is new to Allen's list of favorites, he still likes Texas A&M, LSU, Texas and Oklahoma. He is also receiving significant mail from Texas Tech.
"I'm looking for a college that has a winning program where I will get some playing time," he said.
Allen plans on attending the Nike Camp in April and the Texas A&M one-day camp this summer among others.
