Tigers out in front for Goldsmith

Denton (Texas) Ryan running back Earl Goldsmith has one visit set to Missouri. And the Tigers appear to be the frontrunner for his talents.
"Earl is having a very good year," Ryan coach Joey Florence said. "He's over nine yards per carry. We know what we are getting every time he takes the field. He goes as hard as he can on every play."

Goldsmith has rushed for over 1,000 yards on the year as the Raiders head to the postseason.
"We are 10-1 on the season," Florence said. "He'll hopefully have a few more games to add to his yardage totals."
The 5-foot-10, 182-pound Goldsmith is set to visit Missouri on Dec. 5.
"He is really liking what Missouri has to offer," Florence said. "They have been recruiting him hard. I will be shocked if he doesn't end up at Missouri after his visit next month. He's got some other schools talking to him, but he seems to be focused on Missouri."
The other schools after Goldsmith include Texas Tech, Rice and Tulsa.
"The other schools have been recruiting him hard too. But, something just clicked on Missouri."
