Tigers OL commit Saahdiq Charles: Everything been great since Day 1

The Latest: It wasn't exactly a surprise when three-star offensive lineman Saahdiq Charles announced his commitment to LSU earlier this month. After all, Charles openly coveted an offer from the Tigers so once it rolled in he was quick to jump on board. But in a recent conversation with Rivals.com, Charles said it's the attention that he's been getting since committing that has really impressed him.

In His Words: "Everything with LSU has been great since Day 1, even before the commitment. I have a pretty solid relationship with Coach Grimes and I’m getting to know some of the other coaches, too. I’ve been talking to Coach Miles on a regular basis -- he’s showing me the same type of love that he did even before I committed."

On if he will visit other schools: "I don’t think so. Right now I’m just going to chill and stay locked in with the Tigers. I haven’t decided if I’m going down for the camp or not. It’s my birthday but I think I’ll probably still go."

Rivals Reaction: Charles beamed when he talked about the Tigers and unlike some prospects from the state of Mississippi, he's not feeling the pressure to stay in state. Charles has a very high ceiling and is a nice grab for LSU, especially this early in the process.
