Tigers high on list for Texas prospect

DeSoto, Texas offensive lineman Jason Guillory has several schools looking at him early in the recruiting process. And the 6-foot-4, 340-pounder is looking at the possibility of playing two sports for the college he chooses.
"Everything is going well," Guillory said. "I am getting a lot of mail from schools. I have gotten mail from Texas, Oklahoma, LSU, Baylor, Florida, Kansas State, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M. Nobody has given me a scholarship offer, yet."

Guillory is planning on some football camps this summer, but has not finalized any plans.
"I don't know which camps I will go to," he said. "I will go to some, but I haven't figured them out at this point."
Guillory is also looking at the track programs at the colleges on his list.
"I am a shot put and a discus thrower. My best shot put throw is 60-feet-7 and my best discus throw is 174-feet-8. The shot was last year and the discus is this year already. I'm trying to get those up a little bit. I'm getting recruited by many of those same schools for track too. I would like to do both in college."
One school holds the top spot on Guillory's list at this point.
"I've been a fan of LSU for a long time. They have a good football program and a good track program. It is a good place and would fit those needs of having good programs in both and probably have the chance to do both."
