Tigers and Aggies to host Walker

Waco, Texas cornerback Marcus Walker has two other unofficial visits planned for this summer. Then it will be time to focus on football.
“I am planning on going to LSU’s football camp next weekend,” the 5-foot-11, 180-pound Walker said. “I’m looking forward to that camp.”

Walker’s other visit will be to Texas A&M.
“I will also make a trip to College Station to check out the A&M campus,” he said. “That will be the last campus I go to before this fall. It will give me a chance to see those two before I get to the fall visits.”
While Walker continues to list Oklahoma, Florida State, Arkansas, Notre Dame and Nebraska in addition to the Tigers and Aggies, one school is still at the top of his list.
“I still have Oklahoma at the top of the list,” Walker said. “That school has a great tradition and the coaches there have things rolling again. They are in the hunt for the title every year.”
Walker is the No. 65 rated player in the country by Rivals.com and is one of the top 10 defensive backs.
While Walker does have the Sooners at the top of his list, don’t look for an early decision.
“I’m planning on making my visits when I’m done playing this fall. That way it won’t interfere with our season and I can concentrate on making it the best I can.”
