Skinny: A year ago, Pflugerville, Texas linebacker Luke Tiemann performed well enough on the field to earn first-team all-district honors. This year he hopes to improve his stock enough to earn a college scholarship.
“I haven’t received a scholarship offer yet,” Tiemann said. “I’m getting lots of mail from Texas, Texas A&M, Colorado, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Nebraska. The calls can start next month and I’m sure there will be some.”
While Tiemann hasn’t named a team the favorite on his list, he does like Texas and Texas A&M a lot.
“I had the chance to visit Texas and Texas A&M last year. I really liked everything about them. The facilities were nice. The coaches were good to talk to and visit with.”
Tiemann also attended the Aggie summer football camp last summer.
“I did go to the camp at College Station last year. But I don’t know what I’ve got planned for this year, yet.”
