Tide impresses Florida star

Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln fullback Seddrick Holloway impressed several schools to offer him a scholarship. One of those schools was the University of Alabama, but this weekend the Tide impressed Holloway.
"My original plan was to go to the game," Holloway said. "My ride ended up falling through and we didn't make it though. I did get to watch the game on TV and all I can say is wow."

The 5-foot-10, 235-pound Holloway runs the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds and plays for one of the most powerful programs in Florida.
"I thought it was going to be a real close game," Holloway said. "I thought Alabama might win, but never did I think they would be Florida like that. I knew Alabama had a great defense though and that if they could shut down the run on the Florida they could really take it to them."
During his junior campaign Holloway rushed for over 700 yards and eight touchdowns for the Trojans.
"I haven't talked to Alabama since that game, but I talked to them last week before it," Holloway said. "In terms of schools and stuff everything is pretty much the same as it has been being."
