Thurmon puts plans on hold

Chicago (Ill.) Mt. Carmel three-star defensive end Kevin Thurmon had planned to make a decision before his third game, but those plans are on hold.
"I am probably going to take it out a little longer," Thurmon said. "I think I just want to take more time."

Wisconsin was the school Thurmon was focused on most coming out of the summer, and he still keeps in contact with assistant coach T.J. Woods.
"I talked to them before the season started and since the season started," Woods said. "I talk to them before the games and they tell me to have a good season and a good game."
Wisconsin's next two homes games occur the weekends of Sept. 20 and Sept. 27, and Thurmon is looking to attend one of those dates.
The other two schools Thurmon is considering at this stage of his recruitment are Cincinnati and Ball State.
"I think I am going to a Ball State game," Thurmon said. "I'm not sure about Cincinnati yet, though."
The 6-foot-2, 275-pound Thurmon has totaled 10 tackles through two games and also has four sacks, all coming in his second game. Mt. Carmel has a 1-1 record this season.
