Threet a busy quarterback

Adrian, Mich., quarterback Steven Threet, one of the top signal callers in the Midwest, has visited a number of schools and has several scholarship offers on the table.
"I'm interested in teams that are interested in me," Threet said. "I have three offers now, Indiana, Miami of Ohio, and Georgia Tech.

"Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois, Boston College, and Wisconsin are showing interest. I'm definitely interested in those schools."
Threet has visited a number of the schools he mentioned.
"I've been to spring practices at Indiana and one at Michigan," he said. "And I went to a Michigan State spring practice. I went to a Michigan State junior day too."
Threet also went to Michigan's spring game and will go to another this coming weekend.
"I'm going to Miami of Ohio's spring game Friday night," he said. "And I'm going to visit Georgia Tech April 28."
Threet plans to continue evaluating schools.
"I wouldn't say I have a favorite," Threet said. "I'm keeping my options open. I'm not close to making a decision."
The 6-foot-5 and 218-pound Threet passed for 1600 yards during his junior season. He connected for 20 touchdowns with 11 interceptions.
Threet is a fine all-around athlete who is also a varsity basketball and baseball player. He has a 4.0 GPA.
