Three visits planned for Amara

Junior athlete Patrick Amara of Philadelphia (Pa.) West Catholic picked up his first two offers during the last month and is now focusing on adding to this total. Amara also has three visits planned for this spring to check out practices.
Amara, 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, received his first two offers from Bowling Green and Massachusetts.

"It felt great. I was very excited," said Amara. "But then I refocused myself to better myself so that I can be the best contributor to my team."
Besides his two offers, several other schools have turned up their level of interest recently.
"Rutgers, Old Dominion, Wisconsin, Miami, Northwestern, Maryland and Temple are all showing more interest," said Amara.
Up next for Amara are visits to Maryland, Bowling Green and Old Dominion to check out a spring practice.
"I hope I will find a great fit and a great environment, which I can see myself at for a couple of years," said Amara.
When it comes to summer camps, Amara plans to make visits to Pittsburgh, Michigan State, Penn State and Temple.
"I want to prove that I'm a national recruit and that I can potentially be one of the top recruits in 2014," said Amara, who is registered for the Rivals Camp Series presented by Under Armour in Piscataway, New Jersey on April 27th.
