Four-star Ohio running back William Mahone visited Pitt last week and now he's poised to check out three more schools in the near future.
Mahone, a 5-foot-11, 205-pound prospect from Austintown (Ohio) Fitch, enjoyed his trip to Pitt last week. It gave him an opportunity to spend quality time with the coaches and get to know the program a little better.
"It was great," Mahone recalled. "I already had a great relationship with their coaches. I just watched the camp and watched Coach (Calvin) Magee coach. I talked to Coach (Todd) Graham and Coach Magee and we all had a good time."

Three visits now loom on the horizon.
"The week of Father's Day I'm going to see Northwestern, Notre Dame and Michigan State," Mahone explained.
"If I get a chance I'll probably get out to Boston College after that and then I have that big camp in Oregon, but that's about it."
Mahone said he hopes to narrow his list significantly prior to the end of the summer. He said he would even like to have a decision made by then but he's not necessarily going to hold himself to that.
He noted that some schools are starting to stand out but he prefers not to release that list at this time.
