Three top Killebrews list

Springdale (Md.) Flowers linebacker Brandon Killebrew is still sitting on one offer but he's been getting good vibes from coaches at several other schools.
The 6-foot, 199-pound prospect from Maryland picked up an offer from Navy a while back. More could be on the way before too long.

"Actually I didn't do camps this summer," Killebrew said. "I was supposed to be taking an unofficial to Michigan State sometime this month but I don't think it will happen. I'm supposed to be taking an unofficial to Navy soon, though.
"I would say my top three is Navy, Maryland and Michigan State. I like them because they were recruiting me early on and I had a connection with the coaching staffs.
"The person recruiting me at Michigan State is Ted Gill and he's a straightforward guy. I just like the school and I like that it's in the Big Ten. They're up and coming, and they're rebuilding their program.
"Maryland and Navy are really close to home. Maryland was one of the first schools to start recruiting me. They haven't offered but they've said I'll probably get an offer sooner or later. James Franklin is recruiting me for them. He's a cool guy. He came to my school right before last season and he's been after me.
"I like Navy a lot because if you go there you have a lot of possibilities in life other than football. If you want to seek a career other than the NFL there are a lot of doors that are opened. I've been there several times and I went to their spring game. I've met the head coach and I've just had a good time there."
A few other schools are also in the mix.
"Boston College, West Virginia and Pitt are still recruiting me," he continued. "West Virginia and Pitt send letters almost every single day. I really like those three, too. If I had to pick a top five it would be Navy, Maryland, Michigan State, West Virginia and Pitt."
