Three step up for Houston RB

Selvin Young, the running back from Jersey Village, Texas, can go just about anywhere in the country that he wants to. But three schools, according to Young, are ones that seem to be separating themselves from the pack.
“I’d say that Oklahoma, UCLA and Texas are the ones I’m thinking about most,” Young explained. “They’re the ones I’m really considering. They’re the ones I’m trying to set up visits with. A bunch of people are calling, but I don’t think I’m going to go to any of those (other) places.”

Young, who has rushed for more than 1,200 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, said Nebraska, Kansas State, LSU, Texas A&M, Arkansas and Colorado are also talking to him.
Every school involved has offered the 6-foot, 195-pound Young a scholarship.
Young declined to mention a leader among his choices.
What does Young like about the three schools he is considering most?
“Their offenses. They all have teams that can score a lot of points and run spread formations. That’s what we do (at Jersey Village) and that’s the kind of offense I like.”
