Three-star WR has favorites

It's still very early in the recruiting process and a lot can change in the coming months.
That said, the things that happen early in the process often leave a lasting impression on a prospect and factor heavily into his decision -- whenever that comes.

That's why fans of three schools might be interested in hearing who Hazlet (N.J.) Raritan wide receiver Bennett Jackson has at the top of his list.
"I have 10 offers so far, and probably toward the end of June I'll start narrowing things down. I'll make a decision around September. I might do one official visit but probably not many.
"I have a few favorites right now. Part of it is because I haven't been to many colleges. I have been to Boston College, Pittsburgh and Rutgers, though, and I like them a lot. They have pretty nice campuses and I like everything about them.
"I also like Notre Dame and West Virginia a lot. I just gotta get out and see everybody."
West Virginia was the most recent school to offer the 6-foot-1, 165-pound three-star prospect.
He said over the past three weeks a lot of college coaches have been coming by his school to get a glimpse of him. North Carolina, Ohio State, Purdue and Michigan State have sent coaches by to do just that.
Jackson said this summer he plans on attending a camp at Rutgers. He attended a similar event hosted by the Scarlet Knights last year and said it went well, so he would like to repeat the experience.
He said he has also been hearing a lot from Virginia lately.
