Three-star WR enjoys second trip

Houston (Texas) Lamar wide receiver Brandon LaFell took his second official visit of the year over the weekend.
“I had a real good time on my trip to Missouri,” the 6-foot-3, 180-pound LaFell said. “I met a lot of people and got the chance to see what it was like to be a part of the team. I sat in on some of the team meetings and got to go through some of the game day activities.”

The three-star rated LaFell had previously visited Arizona and has trips to Utah and Nebraska on the calendar.
“I am just taking things in stride,” he said. “I really enjoyed my trip to Missouri, but I also had a good time at Arizona. I am taking things in and just trying to get a good feel for what is going on at each of the schools so I can find the best place for me to go to school.
“I will go to Utah for their last game when they play BYU (Nov. 19) and my trip to Nebraska will be the next weekend when they play Colorado. I am looking forward to seeing both of those schools. I don’t know where my fifth trip would be to at this time. I’m looking at several places for that last one.”
LaFell has offers from all four schools he has visited or will visit in addition to LSU, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and Kansas.
