Three-star WR discusses choice

Three-star wide receiver Mike Burke made his selection over the course of the summer. It went largely under the radar, but where is the 6-foot-3, 205-pounder headed?
"I had offers from Villanova, Albany and Monmouth, I committed to Villanova," he said. "I gave them my verbal commitment over the course of the summer.

"It's just their program and everything. They won the national championship a couple years back and they have a chance to go to the Big East. Just to compete at that level is pretty cool.
"I love their coaching staff, everyone seems really close and that's kind of how it is at my high school."
Burke, rated the No. 40 overall prospect in Pennsylvania broke out in the season opener for Columbia last weekend.
"We won 36-13 and I had three touchdowns on six receptions for 125-yards and I threw for a two-point conversion," he said. "Everything seems to have slowed down and I have a feel for the game so much more.
"I just want to show a lot of people this year that forty times don't mean anything. I can still outrun everyone on the field."
