Three-star WR cancels WVU official visit

Erie (Pa.) Strong Vincent wide receiver Maurice Williams was scheduled to make his first official visit up to West Virginia this weekend. The 6-foot-0, 184-pounder has had to cancel the trip, but is looking to reschedule.
"I was planning to go to West Virginia, but I've got the playoffs starting this weekend and we have a game on Saturday," he said. "I am going to reschedule it, but I'm not sure when yet. Now the only official I have planned is Pittsburgh on the 25th.

"I just want to check out the school. I also want to show my mom the academic program and game atmosphere at Pittsburgh when we go."
Currently the three-star prospect maintains he's down to four schools, Iowa, Penn State, Pittsburgh and West Virginia. What makes them stand out?
"I really feel the most comfortable at those programs," he said. "I like the coaching staff a lot and some of the players I've met from those schools."
At this time, Williams is still undecided on whether he'll take his fifth official visit.
With the playoffs starting this weekend, Williams is looking forward to a potential run.
"We play our first game against Warren on Saturday and we should do fine in the playoffs. We've just got to win out because if you lose you're done," he said. "As for me, I'm doing pretty well this year although it's not quite as good as last season. I'm just continuing to try to get better."
