Three-star WR adds another Pac 10 offer

Lakewood (Calif.) Mayfair three-star receiver Alterraun Verner has added another Pac 10 scholarship offer. With offers already on the table from Oregon, Wyoming, Boise State and Boston College, it was a Pacific Northwest team to put down the latest offer.
"He received a call from coach Skip (Kelly Skipper) at Washington State," his father, Robert Verner said.

"Coach Skip informed Al that he's being officially offered to play football for Washington State. They are recruiting Al as an athlete.
"Coach Skip said the offer is in the mail."
Verner, who runs a 4.5-second 40-yard dash and claims a 29-inch vertical leap, said his attitude is what most sets him apart from his competition.
"My work ethic may be my greatest strength," Verner said in a previous interview.
