Three-star Texas DL back from 1st visit

Houston defensive tackle LC Kirkpatrick is back from his visit to Iowa.
“As far as a commit, no,” Kirkpatrick said, “but I really enjoyed the visit. I really liked the campus and enjoyed meeting all the coaches.”

“It’s hard to rate the visit, since it was my first one, but I would give it an eight out of ten.”
Other schools looking at the 6-foot-3, 255 pound defensive end from Aldine High School in Houston, Texas are New Mexico, Tulsa, Houston, Louisiana State and Texas A&M and those appear to be the ones that will probably get his next four visits.
“I am going to wait until after Christmas to schedule the rest of my visits,” Kirkpatrick said, “but they will likely be from those teams.” (the teams listed above)
“I’m looking for a friendly environment with the campus and people, good academics, and a good coaching staff that can help me reach my potential."
While his team went 6-5 with a first round playoff loss, LC had a very good year individually. He recorded 45 tackles and four sacks, and was a finalist for the Houston area defensive player of the year presented by the Touchdown Club.
