Three-star Texan enjoys unofficial visit

Carthage, Texas, three-star cornerback Jason Teague took an unscheduled unofficial visit to Baton Rouge, La., this weekend and it's a visit that he really seemed to enjoy.
"It was something amazing," said Teague, one of the fastest rising prospects not just in Texas, but the entire nation. "Basically for other high school players to go there and see what it's like they would just be amazed by the atmosphere.

"One of my coaches went with me to LSU. It was an unofficial visit and I got to go into the locker room and I talked to Justin Vincent, JaMarcus Russell, Skylar Green, and a few other guys. I got along with them real well and they were telling me how great LSU was."
Teague said he didn't know what to expect when he saw Tiger Stadium for the first time.
"From the moment I walked into the stadium and saw the 92,000 fans it was just great," he said. "I think it put them way up there with me. I mean, they are definitely a team I have a ton of interest in."
The LSU gush fest then continued.
"I talked to all of the coaches while I was there," Teague said. "I had been talking to them on the phone a lot, but I got to meet them all while I was there. I got along real well with their secondary coach (Doug Mallory). He is a real nice guy."
"They have plenty of places for a guy like me. I have the height to play corner, but I can play on the offensive side of the ball if a team needs me there."
Teague said he'd like to take a few official visits before he makes any kind of decision. Other schools like Arkansas, Baylor, Houston, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, TCU and UTEP have offered him.
