Three-star TE schedules his first official

Three-star tight end Quentin Williams out of Pittsburgh (Pa.) Central Catholic has scheduled his first official visit. The 6-foot-4, 230-pounder plans to take the visit this weekend.
"I'm about to go on an official to Stanford this weekend," he said. "That'll be my first official and it's a really big visit. I'm really interested in seeing whether it's a good fit for me being that far away from home. I do have some family in the San Francisco area."

Of course, Stanford is coming off a huge win at Southern Cal over the weekend.
"I try not to think about that too much, but it's a pretty big deal," he said. "It seems like coach Harbaugh is doing something. I look for him to continue that and the win definitely helps them, but it is just one game."
Williams is looking at a few more schools for officials.
"I'm going to schedule two more officials to Boston College and Rutgers," he said. "Rutgers will be after the season, while Boston College should be sometime this month.
"I'm still looking at a few other schools to visit and don't really have a top five. Other ones I'm considering are Virginia Tech, Northwestern, Georgia Tech and Oklahoma."
The No. 31 tight end in the country confirmed that all the schools he is considering are fine with his desire to play football and baseball in college.
"As of now all these schools will let me ply both, everyone is open to it."
Football has been going well for Williams and Central Catholic as they have improved to a 6-0 record.
"We've had two solid wins and got good momentum," he said. "We don't have any bad bugs on this team and we're getting the job done.
"I've been playing pretty good. I'm mostly used more as a blocking tight end. I've definitely improved there after working on that all during camp. My strength is improving too. I just want to continue working on my strength some more and get faster."
