Three-star TE headed to ULL

MORE: 2015 tight end visits Vanderbilt
New Orleans (La.) Edna Karr tight end Anthony Jones decided he was ready to make his decision, so on Saturday he went ahead and made the call. And just like that he became a member for the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns.

The 6-foot-6, 231-pound standout had many reasons for his choice, but it really boiled down to a few things for Jones.
"Well, I felt like it was a great place for me and my future," Jones said. "I know I'm going to play early and that was a major reason why I chose them."
Jones, who was also considering interest from Texas and Florida State, is not ready to completely shut down the recruiting process.
He is committed to Louisiana-Lafayette but he is still keeping an open mind and plans to take all of his visits before signing his letter of intent.
Jones is currently ranked a three-star prospect, No. 22 in the Rivals.com Louisiana Spring Top 40, and No. 27 among tight ends.
