Oregon might be making a late run at Kwesi Mashack, he's not exactly sure, but the Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta three-star defensive back plans to stick with his commitment.
The 5-foot-9, 186-pound recruit said he appreciates any new interest, but he doesn't plan to back off his pledge to Arizona.
"They stopped by the school," Mashack said of Oregon.
"They didn't say anything really. They were talking about last-second recruiting stuff. It was nothing big. I'm not sure what their main reason was. I'm not exactly sure why they came down.
"I know for sure I'm going to stick with Arizona."
Mashack, who's been committed to Arizona since late July, said "of course" he's going to stick with the Wildcats and doesn't seem too interested in other programs.
The Vista Murrieta standout said there are a lot of things that weighed into his decision to commit to Arizona and all of them still stand.
Others might make a late run at the three-star defensive back, but Mashack said he's not really interested and plans to pick Arizona on National Signing Day.
"It's close to home and it's a six-hour drive so I have my family right there," Mashack said. "They can come watch just about all my games.
"I really like the weather out there. I don't have to deal with a lot of rain or anything like that. They run a 3-3-5 so that's like a perfect defense for DBs."
