Three-star standout making plans

Shreveport (La.) Calvary Academy three-star standout Shun Brown has been a playmaker on both sides of the ball the last few years, and he has caught the attention of college coaches on both sides of the ball.
The 5-foot-8, 165-pound talent has grabbed offers from the likes of Arizona, Pittsburgh, Mississippi State, Southern Miss, and Tulsa, and he is beginning to make a few plans.

"I'm going to make my list at the end of the summer around week 1 maybe," Brown said. "I'm going on a few visits in July and I'm going to LSU's camp and that's about it."
Mississippi State and Pittsburgh are on track to receive summer visits from Brown, and he has three schools he has in mind for official visits during the season.
"Arizona, Mississippi State, and Pitt," Brown said.
He admits the three programs have taken a slight lead over the rest of the competition at this point. However, he is not ready to trim his list, and he hopes to list a top 10 around the first week of the 2014 season.
In addition to naming a top ten and preparing to take some official visits, Brown also has an idea about when to make his final college choice.
"Probably midway through the season because I might leave early," Brown said.
As for his position of preference, Brown is willing to do whatever he is asked to do on the college level.
"It really doesn't matter," Brown said. "Whatever the coaches want me to be on their team."
