Three-star sets second visit

Three-star cornerback/wide receiver Anthony Houston (6-4, 200, 4.53) from San Diego (Calif.) Mission Bay is doing everything that was expected of him this season. The talented Houston is getting the job done on both sides of the ball.
"Anthony is certainly living up to his potential," Mission Bay coach Orlando Garcia said. "He's been outstanding on both sides of the ball."

"Last week our quarterback completed five passes out of 14," Garcia said. "All five completions were made by Anthony."
"Besides playing wider receiver," Garcia said. "We have him lining up at both cornerback and safety on the defensive side of the ball."
So far in four games Houston has caught 15 passes for 275 yards and one touchdown. Not bad when you consider that the opposition is double and triple teaming Houston to stop him.
On the defensive side of the ball he has accounted for 18 tackles and one interception.
On the recruiting front Houston has approximately 15 offers. Schools such as Oregon State, Arizona, Arizona State, Washington, Washington State, Nebraska, Kansas and Kansas State have offered.
USC and Colorado are waiting to see how his academics play out.
Houston has already visited Nebraska and he has committed to a visit to Oregon State but the date hasn't been set at this time.
"USC calls all the time and they love him," Garcia said. "Anthony went up to their camp so he's familiar with them. USC is waiting on his grades before they offer."
"Anthony worked real hard in summer school to improve his grades," Garcia said. "Now we are waiting for his grades to be posted so we can send out his new and improved transcripts."
"Colorado wants to trip Anthony, too," Garcia said. "The Buffs are also waiting for his grades."
As a junior, he led the team in receptions with 17. He also had 253 receiving yards and four touchdowns. On defense, from his cornerback position Houston racked up 31 tackles and had two picks.
