Three-star set to take visit

The last up close look that Rivals com had of three-star tight end J.T. Kerr (6-4, 230, 4.75) from San Diego (Calif.) Scripps Ranch was at the very prestigious Beyond 2000 Elite Camp (B2G) last June where he stood out amongst some of highest rated players in the west.
Kerr was able to find the sweet spot and displayed an uncanny ability for getting open, catching the ball even though he would take a couple hits. He is also an outstanding blocker.

The talented tight end has a favorite and will visit that school this coming weekend.
"I have not received any new offers lately; it's still just San Diego State, Nebraska and Arizona," Kerr said. "Nebraska is my top school right now."
"UCLA, Oregon, Arizona State and Utah are recruiting me hard," Kerr said. "Oregon says that that I'm right around the corner from an offer. They just want to see my first couple of games, same with UCLA."
"I'll be taking my official visit to Nebraska next weekend (Sept. 12th)," Kerr said. "That's my only official visit set up so far. "I'm hoping to visit Oregon, Arizona State and UCLA."
"I probably want to commit midseason, because I want to have all that stuff out of my mind for playoffs," Kerr said. "I want to focus on my team and take them as far as we can go."
"I just want to help my team and be as much of a leader as I can possibly be," Kerr said. "I want to keep the team moral up and try to take us far."
Kerr is already fully qualified with his 3.2 GPA and his 1460 SAT.
Kerr is also a member of the Rivals.com California Preseason Top 100 team for the class of 2009, landing as the Golden State's No. 62 prospect at any position.
