Three-star set on Utah

Uaea Masina has been committed to Utah since late July and his official visit this past weekend only solidified his pledge even more.
The Salt Lake City (Utah) Brighton three-star outside linebacker said he had a great trip to the school, is not considering any other programs and is locked in for this recruiting class.

"I just got done with the official visit and it was great," Masina said. "They showed me a lot of the campus and they just kept taking me out to eat all the time. It was fun. It was really a blast."
Masina, rated as the sixth-best player in the Utah state rankings by Rivals.com, said he has a great relationship with pretty much every coach on staff. That helped make his decision easier since he likes the people he'll be playing for.
"If I have any questions I can call any of them up," Masina said. "They're all way helpful in answering my questions and getting things done for me. I'm close with all of them.
"I'm going to the 'U' so there are no other options for me. I'd rather go there than anywhere else."
Another big aspect of Masina's decision to play for the Utes is that his brother, Osa, is a 2015 prospect who already has offers from Utah and BYU.
He could be heavily recruited coming out of high school and Masina said he tries to give his brother space in the recruiting process but the idea of playing together has been briefly discussed.
"I'm just answering any questions he has and stuff I've picked up I'll let him know about," Masina said. "I pretty much let him learn for himself and decide on his own though.
"It's still too early but we've talked about playing together."
Masina also has offers from BYU, Colorado, Hawaii, San Diego State and Southern Utah.
