Three-star running back taking things slow

Running back J.J. Smith of Brooklyn (Miss.) is holding one offer and is looking for more.
Louisiana-Monroe has been Smith's sole offer for some time , but it appears Memphis, Ole Miss, Florida Atlantic and Marshall could be showing interest.

"I haven't made up my mind yet, but all those schools are still calling at this point," Smith said. "There aren't any favorites, but those are the ones I'm concentrating on because of their interest in me as a player."
Smith wants to play against the best in college.
"Mainly, I just want to play for a team that plays tough games," Smith said. "Also it would be nice to have good exposure there as well."
So when does the three-star rated prospect plan on making his mind up?
"To be honest, I really couldn't tell you," Smith said. "I'm just concentrating on making my choice so I can be registered by August."
The 6-foot, 193-pound prospect also is looking to set up visits to some of the interested schools before Signing Day comes and goes.
