Three-star RB Woodley wants Miami

Lorenzo Woodley is a bruising back out of Miami (Fla.) Columbus who runs with power, but has above average game speed. He can lower his shoulder and run through would-be tacklers or bounce it to the edge.
The three-star prospect has sixteen offers and has a top three of Pittsburgh, Purdue, and Vanderbilt. Woodley stated, "Those are my top schools right now. I'm liking them the most."

Woodley only has one official visit set up thus far. He plans to visit the Boilermakers on November 3 when they face Penn State. Former Columbus standout Gary Bush is a junior wide receiver. Having a former player on the roster may help Purdue's chances.
There is one school that he wants to hear from more and that is the University of Miami. The 'Canes were recruiting him last spring, but the communication has broken down.
Miami is expected to take a small class and they have two running backs already committed for the 2013 class, so he isn't sure where he stands.
He was quick to call The U his "dream school" and if they offered it would mean a lot to the local star.
His running style differs from speed back Duke Johnson, who is expected to be the starter next season. If Miami is looking for a stronger, compact runner Woodley could be their guy.
For now he will take in a Big Ten game when he travels to West Lafayette in November. After that trip look for him to make the rounds if the Hurricanes haven't come calling.
