Three-star RB schedules first official

Three-star running back Brent Carter out of Pottstown (Pa.) Pottsgrove has scheduled his first official visit of the season. Who has the 6-foot-3, 190-pounder with 4.55-second speed set up the visit with and why did he choose them?
"I've set up my first official with Boston College on December 3rd," he said. "I like their school a lot and I know I want to go somewhere in the north or at least cold."

"I'm hoping the visit will give me a good idea of where I want to go. I'm hoping just to see what they have to offer and enjoy myself."
Carter hasn't scheduled them, but is also considering officials to Syracuse and Minnesota.
"I like that Syracuse has a good campus and they are rebuilding their team. I understand what they are going through right now," he said. "I like Minnesota because I feel really comfortable with the coaching staff and I've only heard great things about them. I also know they are a great running school especially with Lawrence Maroney this season."
This weekend the No. 57 running back in the country is headed up on an unofficial visit to take in the Wisconsin-Penn State game.
"I'm just hoping to see a good game and another side of the football team than I already have," he said. "I'm getting recruited by both teams so I'm going to keep an eye on them and especially the running backs. I hope to get a better relationship with the Penn State coaches this visit too."
Carter has helped Pottsgrove to a 6-2 record.
"I've been doing alright this season. I've got over 1,000 yards rushing," he said. "I know I can continue to do better, but at the moment I know I'm a lot stronger and able to carry the load more for our team than in previous years."
