Three-star RB ready to add more

St. James, La., three-star all-purpose running back Luther Ambrose already has scholarship offers from Ole Miss and Louisiana Tech.
But the 5-foot-9, 160-pounder that is ranked as the No. 23 all-purpose back in the nation hopes he can improve on that total and get even more offers on the table.

"I want to prove to everybody that I'm a big time player," Ambrose said.
"The season has been all right so far, but I haven't scored yet, though. I'm going to change that this week."
As a junior, he rushed for over 1,300 yards as a junior. He scored over 12 touchdowns rushing another five score receiving. His accomplishments on the field were enough to earn him first team all conference honors. He hopes to replicate those honors in 2007 and along the way get more schools interested in him.
"I'm mainly hearing from UL Monroe, Louisiana Tech and Ole Miss," he said. "I'm going to try and take some visits. I want to go by and see LSU and try to see some of the schools closer to me."
Ambrose said he's hoping to find the perfect school.
"What they have to offer academically will be very important to me," he said. "I want to do engineering, so I'm going to look at some of the best schools for engineering."
