Lawton, Okla. running back Andrew Alexander is ready to get back on the field after his standout junior campaign.
"I'm ready for the season to get here," Alexander said. "I want to get back on the field."

As a junior, the 5-foot-10, 165-pounder ran for 1,849 yards and 18 touchdowns. He put up nearly 250 yards per contest and an eight yard per carry average.
With numbers like those, the recruiters have taken note and are pursuing Alexander.
"I'm being recruited by several schools. Oklahoma, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Kansas State and Kansas are my top five right now, I guess."
Of the schools recruiting him, only one school has placed a scholarship offer on the table.
"Oklahoma State offered me one, but they are the only one so far. I'll probably pick up some more as the season rolls on this fall."
Alexander does not anticipate making a decision too early.
"I don't want to rush into a choice," Alexander said. "I'll probably wait until I've taken all of my trips and then choose a school."
