Three-star RB picks Big Ten

One of the top rushers in the Midwest is heading to the Big Ten.
Milwaukee (Wis.) Milwaukee Riverside three-star running back Shane Covington made the call on his final decision on Friday, picking Indiana over scholarship offers from Kansas State, Illinois and Ball State.

"I called coach Bill Lynch and let him know that I was ready to commit," Covington, who is 6-foot and 181 pounds, said. "So I decided that I will be attending Indiana."
Covington is a very good recruiting victory for the Hoosiers.
Ranked as a solid three-star prospect and the No. 4 player in Wisconsin, Covington rushed for 675 yards and eight scores as a junior. He also had 378 yards receiving and two touchdown grabs.
Up until recently had had listed Illinois and Kansas State as his leaders, but Indiana has always been near the top of his list.
"Wherever I go, I want it to feel like home, and I got that feeling at Indiana," he said. "I want to have a good experience for the four years of my life I'm in college so finding a place that makes me feel like I'm home is important."
