Three-star QB still looking around

Angier (N.C.) Harnett Central quarterback Rodney Cox committed to East Carolina last month. The 6-foot-6, 228-pounder continues to look around and even took an official visit last weekend to North Carolina A&T.
"That's the only visit I've taken so far," he said. "It was great. I really liked the facilities, coaches and atmosphere there. I had a good time and would say they are one of the three schools I'm eyeing. I'm also looking at East Carolina and North Carolina State."
At this time, the three-star prospect hasn't scheduled visits with either of his other favorites.
"They are just waiting on the trips right now," he said. "I do like both of those programs though because they are rebuilding and they are getting better every year."
Meanwhile, Cox continues to be a soft commitment for the Pirates?
"They are a good program, I like the coaches and I'm interested in playing there, but I'm still wide open. I'd like to take a couple more visits if I can."
