Three-star QB returns from Louisville

West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade three star quarterback Chris Turner (6-4, 197, 4.79) just returned from his second official visit. His first visit was to UTEP back in November. The school he just visited was Louisville.
"Louisville was real cool," Turner said. "I had a lot better time than I thought I would."

"I thought the area where the campus is was nice," Turner said. "It wasn't as rural as I thought it would be."
"I was pretty close to committing," Turner said. "I told Coach (Bobby) Petrino that I was very interested in his program and that I wanted to talk to my Dad."
Louisville is still very much an option for Turner. UTEP is now out of the hunt.
Oregon and Maryland are very interested in getting a visit out of Turner in January. LSU has also been showing interest in Turner.
Illinois had offered Turner early but now there is a new regime in Champaign.
Turner threw for 2,047 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior.
