Three-star OT schedules two officials

Offensive tackle Richard Muldrow has begun to schedule official visits. The 6-foot-6, 293-pounder out of York (Pa.) William Penn has two schools scheduled for trips in December.
"I've scheduled officials to West Virginia on December 8th and Rutgers on December 15th," he said. "I chose those schools because I'm very interested in them and what they have to offer. They both are winning teams that have good coaching staffs."

What does Muldrow hope to see on his official visits?
"I want to see the great football facilities and get a feel for the academics," he said. "I want to know what they are known for since I'd like to go into civil or mechanical engineering."
One other school that is likely to receive a trip is Penn State.
"I'm probably going to schedule another official to Penn State," he said. "They are my home state school and I know they might need some offensive linemen in a couple years. I've been there before, but I want to see what life is like as a player outside of football."
Before taking his officials, the three-star prospect plans to head down to Virginia on November 17th for an unofficial.
"I want to go and take in the Miami game," he said. "I've been down there before and I want to see the atmosphere and talk to coach Groh. I'd like to get a feel for the campus in case I don't take an official there. I can at least have an idea of what they are all about."
As for his final two officials, Muldrow is eyeing a few schools.
"A lot of schools are in contact with me including Illinois, Boston College, North Carolina," he said. "I don't have written offers yet, but Purdue, Auburn and Alabama are also talking to me. They are all in contact and want to see more film before possibly offering."
