Three-star opens up again

David Keller has committed to Fresno State twice and now two times the Fresno (Calif.) San Joaquin Memorial has decided to reopen his recruitment.
The 6-foot-5, 286-pound three-star offensive lineman opened up the first time to take a closer look at some Pac-12 schools and then after settling on Fresno State a second time coach Pat Hill got fired and Keller decided to take another look around.

Keller, who talked about his second de-commitment Friday at the Cal State Game, said he's going to keep his recruitment open until he takes visits and now under consideration are Fresno State, Cal and Oregon State.
"After Pat Hill got fired I kind of reopened it again," Keller said. "Right when I committed I decided to reopen it for some Pac-12 schools and then Hill got fired after I re-committed.
"I have no idea what's going on with Fresno State. I talked to coach (Tim) DeRuyter once but I'm going to try to meet him before I make any decisions.
"It just seems like it's not really right obviously will this stuff going on. I'm just going to keep it open because both times I committed it just wasn't right."
Rated No. 74 at offensive tackle in the 2012 class and No. 79 in the California state rankings by Rivals.com, Keller said he's planning official visits to Cal and Oregon State sometime in January.
"The top three, the only schools I'm going to pick from, are Cal, Oregon State and Fresno State," Keller said. "I'm going to stick with that because it's all on the West Coast and they're all pretty close to home and I like the coaches at those schools.
"I'm going to take visits to Cal and Oregon State pretty soon. Oregon State and Cal want me to come up to see so I'm going to see how I like it. I've been to Cal once and I like how it's set up but I haven't met the coaches yet."
