Three-star OG mentions three leaders

Ebensburg (Pa.) Bishop Carroll offensive guard Steve Greene holds a half dozen offers. The 6-foot-4, 302-pounder took a couple unofficials and plans to take more visits this fall.
"I've got offers from Connecticut, Minnesota, Delaware, UCF, Temple and Marshall," he said. "I went to Maryland and Virginia this summer. I didn't perform very well at Maryland, but Virginia liked me. They said I did really well, but I haven't heard much from them since."

A number of other schools are still evaluating the three-star prospect.
"I'm hearing from Rutgers, Vanderbilt and Pittsburgh. They all want to see more film."
Greene is beginning to think about officials.
"I know in December when it comes down to official visits I'll definitely take a trip to UCF," he said. "I'm also hoping I'll pick up a couple more offers this season and visit those schools too."
Is anyone leading for the No. 17 prospect in Pennsylvania?
"Right now I'm probably down to Connecticut, UCF and Minnesota," he said. "Connecticut is really nice and I felt comfortable with everyone. UCF is in Florida and they have real nice weather. It's in Orlando which sounds nice. Then, Minnesota is in the Big Ten Conference. That's a big stage."
Greene and Bishop Carroll begin practice on August 11th.
